The members have been promoting this music video a lot on their social media the last few weeks. They even posted pictures and footage right out of the MV. To me, this shows that they are very involved in the whole filming process and they want to share it with their fans. They have a very close bounds with their Royal Treasures and sometimes even react to comments on their social media.
After 'Run away' this is the second song they released of their new album '3.3'. This new album is a bit harder and louder then what we've heard on their first 2 albums. And so is this song. They really found their way back to rock, just like they did on Youtube before they got signed. I gotta say, I love this new sound. It's edgy, just like their new look. And their look and sound aren't the only things that have changed. Sooyoon uses the stagename 'Exsy' now. James no longer plays the bass, due to a hand injury. He now plays the keyboard, which sounds awesome! And they even have an extra musician helping them out: Enik, who plays second guitar. I liked the old Royal Pirates, but I am loving this new RP.
And I love this new MV too. The shifting and distorted pieces of footage in the MV really works with the edgy sound of the song. And there is so much creativity in it. The footage of them cutting their hair, getting a tattoo, spray painting graffiti and paint splattering clothes. It looks like the guys are expressing themselves more in these last two music videos. You see them playing around and having fun. And the fact that they are all very hot and good looking helps! They even have a few fanservice moments in the MV. Moon staring and singing into the camera, James sexy smile and Exsy licking and biting his lips.
All in all a very good MV if you ask me. I can't wait to see what else this new RP has in store for us.
