[MV REVIEW] Park Yu Chun "How Much Love Do You Have In Your Wallet"

JYJ's Park Yu Chun has released a mini album. Even when he is in service he gave the fans something to make the waiting easier! And wow! I'm a JYJ fan myself, so i will try and keep my opinion as behaved as possible! The singer released his first solo mini album. The album contains six songs of which one is the instrumental version of his title track.

MV Story
The video starts off at an contruction area, an older man is having a troublesome day and his coworkers drag him to dinner. After they are done they leave the man, who was still eating, and while he wants to tie his shoelaces, they don't wait for him. The next scene is when he's walking past a food stand with dumplings and he is checking his wallet, smiley at the photo of him and his daughter, but when he sees the money, he doesn't have enough. Disappointed, he can't pay for it, the man continues his way. The seller, then walks after him to offer some dumplings for free. The man also gets teary eyes and is very graceful with the dumplings and continues his way home.

I enjoy the simpleness of the MV yet its shows a message. I feel sorry that the man gets left behind by his co-workers after they are the ones that dragged him along. Im wondering if he had to pay for the whole meal though.

Lyrics Story
The first part of the song doesn't make sense to me. It's about how people fall in love or say goodbyes and how you grow up. And then it end with that everyone is the same, and how everyone dreams for something. And how he hopes it comes true.

The chorus is about people coming and going, with smiles, no matter what they face in life. That the people stay positive and that it's also for everyone. In the mv this is the part where the man eats with his co-workers.

Then it continues on that people walk by, talking about the good things. The next part is about "I'm glad to be here, smelling the streets". Why is smelling streets a good thing?

Once again the chorus and this time its align with the food stand.  The next part is about how life doesn't work the way we want it and that its okay to fall short. Which then the food seller give the free dumplings.

Opinion
And usually when we come across a K-POP song, the mv and lyrics barely are alike, this one however has similarities with the right lyrics at the right moments.

The message of the lyrics is very meaningful. A lot of people have a bad day and feel they fall short, so seeing this in a song, might give them strength that's its okay to feel this and they don't need to pressure them self. Yes. I am one of those persons that enjoy encouraging songs when times get though. I won't add this song to that list just yet, because its speaks about everyone, and i know that but when you are in that kind of mood, everyone will bother you hah. Bad me! However because i'm a sensitive tissue, i cried when the man got the free dumplings.

Other than that the song fits perfect with Yu Chun's voice. And I just love his ballads. The feeling you get from the song is very relaxing. Its a song you easily listen to hours (as i'm playing it on repeat for this moment) and it won't bother you.

The album will be released on the 19th of January and is up for pre-order. I can't wait to hear the other songs on his album and get my own copy of it! If you wanna know where you can order it the links are blow!
