[INTERVIEW] Z.NU from One.Case

[INTERVIEW]
We had a chance to interview Z.NU. He is the rapper in the new Kpop group: 'One.Case'.
He used to be in the rookie group Victor, where he used his real name, Gyum.
With Victor he performed in the Netherlands twice. He loved our little country and
he says he feels a special connection with the Netherlands.

*CAREER
1. When was the first time you knew you wanted to be a rapper?
- Since I was a child I liked the music genre for no reason. Then when I was 9 years old, I thought of becoming a rapper myself.

2. Was Victor the first Kpop group you joined?
-Yes. Before Victor I did some rap performances with friends. But Victor was my first Kpop group.

3. Do you still have contact with the former members of Victor?
- The members and I often can't communicate. But when we hear good news come out, we congratulate each other. So sometimes we talk.

4. How do you feel about going from Victor to One.CAse?
- Actually there isn't a significant difference. I only want to deliver good music and good rap to the fans. That's all.

5. What are the differences between Victor and One.Case?
- Victor's priority is dance, as it is a dance based group. So it was more powerful and manly. But One.Case is different, with more mature feelings.

6. What are the future plans of One.Case?
- We want to make songs that people want to listen to, because they can empathize with it.

7. Do you think One.Case will come to Europe some day?
- I hope so. When I'll come to Europe together with my One.Case members, I think they will like it.

8. What is the biggest difference between the fans in Asia and the fans in Europe?
- Both fans are really passionate and in reality there is no difference. Honestly I don't know so far. But a big thank you to all the European fans giving us love!

9. Which Kpop artist do you see as an inspiration?
- EPIK HIGH!!!!! ULALA SESSION!!!

10. What is your favorite Kpop song ever?
- I'm not lying, but I like a lot of songs. Right now it's 한여자 (Miserable Woman - the debut song of One.Case).

11. With which Kpop artists would you like to work together?
- I want to try working with Epik High or Ailee.

12. What is your favorite color?
- Red and white.

13. What is your favorite animal?
- Dog!!!!

14. What is your favorite movie?
- My sassie girl.

15. If you could be someone else for one day, who would you want to be?
- Snoop Dogg or Jay Z.

EYK fan package

Because there are a lot of Nasties at SKM and last year the EYK package was such a big hit. On this years SKM meeting, which will be held on June 7th, KNL team wants to make a package for Eat Your Kimchi again. And we want to make this an annual thing.

So here is how it works.

We will have a spot during the SKM meeting where you can hand us the stuff you want to send to EYK. This could be letters, fanart, animal toys, touristy stuff, food etc.

Because last time it was a bit chaotic, We want everyone to write down there name and e-mail address, when they hand over their stuff for the package.

After SKM I (Danielle) will make a package and send it to EYK.
(I promiss to do it sooner this time XD )

As soon as we know the costs, we will split the costs over how many people put something in the package, and mail you the amount and the bank account to which you have to send it.

Let's make an awesome Dutch/European fan package for them!

Somaek Entertainment and Roodkapje Rot(t)terdam have joined forces to host another K-POP + J-POP NIGHT. After the enormous success of the previous edition, everybody agreed we had to do this again. Story: 

After completing his mission in South Korea, a North Korean spy (Park Sung-Woong) hopes to return to his motherland to see his son Myung-Hoon (T.O.P) and daughter Hye-In (Kim You-Jung) again, but he is betrayed by his own country and killed by a South Korean agent.

In North Korea, his children Myung-Hoon and Hye-In are sent off to a forced labor camp. Later, high ranking North Korean military official Sang-Chul (Jo Sung-Ha) visits Myung-Hoon at the labor camp. He offers Myung-Hoon a deal. If Myung-Hoon successfully carries out a spy mission in South Korea, Myung-Hoon and his sister will be released from the labor camp. Myung-Hoon accepts the deal and undergoes 2 years of intense training.

and have fun.

February 22nd will be the 5th edition
and it will take place at Club Empire.
