Cross Gene is back with their latest song "누나 너 말야" from their 3rd mini album GAME
The Music Video starts with two bad guys with a cardboard box on their head and a clown face painted on it. They have kidnapped CG their Noona. To prevent the boys from CG their have made an obstacle course which they need to cross, there are various tests. XC is armed with an Basketball, Paintball gun, fire extinguisher.
I fail to see in how those items besides the paintball gun can really help.... I understand those guns hurt enough. But yes you look badass, attack the wall with paintballs. The second test is a locked room that gets filled with smook. The MV switches from the tests to dance scenes. When they finally reach the noona, the girl is beating up her kidnappers and Cross Gene is to late. Noona scolds them for everything including the kidnappers. Overall it's a fun music video.
The clothing choice is...... kpop... ish.... It doesn't look bad on them, but a fur coat, a cowboy jacket... and the other with a leather one... Maybe because it doesn't match, its fits each other, but not my style.
The lyrics.... are shallow. It's sounds nice to sing, but it doesn't have a meaning. The lyrics are about a Noona that doesn't see CG as man. And they of course dislike that and want her not to look at other guys but them, because she is theirs. Even if its childish, they made it worked with the music, which combined is a great song. It's definitely a favorite of mine for this month and maybe the rest of the year.
