[MV REVIEW] Lee Hi - Breathe

Hooray, she is back. Lee Hi came back with her mv for Breathe on march 9th 2016. The song was composed by SHINee's Jonghyun, which was kept a secret for Yang Hyun Suk until they scheduled the mv filming dates. The album which is named Seoulite itself has been splitted into two parts with the first album "Hold my Hand" and "Breathe".

Unlike her previous songs this song gives a mature vibe from Lee Hi. The song is a slow song, but not yet a ballad, it fits perfectly with her voice. The simplicity from the MV also matches perfect with the whole vibe. The mv shows a few sad people, but not in an obvious way that they are deep unhappy, just a bit sad. The one thing I do love about it, that even though its a sad song, the music video isn't that depressing, dark or anything, it's very light. Look at the setting sun (or is it rising?)
Reading the lyrics its about that its okay when you don't feel good, that even though its not understand why you feel like they she will hold you. So when you feel bad, this is a song perfect since it's okay, but I wasn't and now I do feel like "Awhh ". Either way beautiful song, that really compliments her voice.

So besides saying the above thing, it's not a song for me unlike Im feeling sobby. However, still very pretty. Welcome back Lee Hi.

If you need a song to cheer you up, go and watch Lee Hi's other song Hold my Hand.
